i think it means auto off headlights, like if you leave your lights on then open the door they will turn off automatically.

Nah, come on, is NOT the seatbelt chime.the chime sounds like the sound of the keys of a wireless telephone, louder and deeper than the seatbelt chime. I tried my best to set it off and the closest is to almost let the car stall. Once you do, it sounds once or twice.... But sometimes it goes of while driving...mostly driving slow..Maybe the car is asking for a little smoke session...j/k

Seriously, it somebody could tell me the functions of this misterious beep so i can narrow down whats happening

If I take the keys out and leave the lights on and open the door it does nothing, if I open the door and turn the lights on without the keys in I get that BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP previously described.

I wold probably call the dealer on this one. That isn't normal and may be the computer trying to tell you something. who knows but mitsu.
