Ralliart with evo 8 wing last question!!

I know that 2 new holes need to be drilled to attach the new wing. Im just wondering IF there are any extra holes left over hidden under the spoiler, they will probably start rusting. Are there any kind of plugs that are needed incase of extra holes? I just dont want my trunk to rust away because of extra holes not used or not covered properly. Thanks. I hope you guys understand.

Also, is the evo 9 or evo m spoiler an option for the ralliart? Thanks.

yes they will eventually rust BUT if you take the holes prime them, seal and paint them (with a small paint brush) you will be ok

evo 9 spoler is quite the same in the hole pattern...

Ok. But then water will still go in the hole right, and into the trunk? Or do you mean to seal the hole completely like it was never even there? I have no clue how to do that.

the holes from the stock wing were already painted over so i wasnt worried about them rusting, and i never had any leaks or anything cause the wing came with 3m black foam about an 1/8th inch thick that stuck to the base of the wing and kind of sealed everything up tight when i bolted it down .

a quick DIY is use clear nailpolish aorund the holes and it will act as a antirust.
