I have "free" oil changes but I refuse to spend an extra 38 bucks for synthetic. Especially when they serve up Castrol instead of Mobil 1. I can change my own, put the larger filter on, and STILL save money over the stealership. I'll go in for the major service that's covered but otherwise they can bite my shiney metal ***. I'd have to agree with E2L on this one though... No wait, did you have a bypass sleeve on there? I bet it was the bypass that did it for them... And these guys are going to be management someday.

I do it myself, I tend to even have problems buying filters. They always tell me that the model isn't in the system. I always have to tell them to give me what goes with the sportsback, because they have that. Seems a little dumb.

Yep I was having problems with my brakes and they told me it would be $88 just to look at it. So I told them to go **** themselves. The service guys are always really ****ty to me bacause i'm a chick. I told them I had checked the brake fluid and he was like, " does the brake go all the way to the ground honey?" I said " No,, I just told you i checked the brake fluid, were you to busy looking at mt **** to hear me?"

****ing hate Dealers.

those jiffy tube guys are idiots! a long time ago when i use to drive an integra, (yes I use to love honda's!) i had the jiffy dube guys change my oil, i brought in my own oil (redline at the time) I specifically told the dube aholes, use the oil i supplied and i showed them where it was, they changed my oil alright with the damn crappy ones they had and used the filter they had, when i told them they didnt change my oil they said they did and they wanted to charge me again to use my oil! wtf i told them go f%^& themselves and called there DM, which finally had the dube holes change my shiznach! they told me I couldnt be in the bay while they were doing it and I told them there DM said i can regardless of the insurance policys! Lesson Learned: Don't let jiffy dubes get near your car!

Long time ago, I was dating a lady who took her new car to q-lube where her friend worked for an oil change. He told her that her car didn't have a transmission because it was FWD.

When I used to have a Toyota Tercel, I remember taking it the dealer for oil changes, and the mechanic actually asked, "So, you have the V4 right?". LOL, that doesn't even sound right just saying it!!!

Same old same Lucky. How's everything going on your end, I haven't heard from you in awhile! The RA's lost a little paint since you've seen it (still trying to get brother in law nailed down on paint). Gained a couple parts too though Have you checked out deyeme racing in Troy? They'll fill motor mounts for $25 each or sell a set outright for ~$138 w/ tax but picked up. I'd allready bought them and didn't realize they were in Troy (F'duh!). The STL Porche club has gateway rented this weekend (inner track), all the spots are sold but it's still free to watch. I might check it out and watch one of my engineers spin out his 911... Allways worth the drive to see rich people with no talent see that money can't buy skill. Give me a bump sometime. Still on 2nd's though .

My dealership also threw in an extra service warranty for me for free so that I can take my car in for service every 3750 miles instead of every 7500 miles.

Is this a MITSUBISHI thing or just your local Dealership? Because if I can find this in writing anywhere I'll be all over it.

My dealership I got the car from told me they'd do my first change free... And that's it!!!

It was a promotion if you bought your car during a certain period of time.

Sorry, I got it

I bought my car back in July 2004, and I have the free maintenance for 3 years/45,000 miles. Don't know how long they had that offer.

I think it was a promotion run from July-December, 2004. I bought my car on June 26th.
