Jiffy Lube Story...

I will never patronize another Jiffy Lube again. I used to frequent that company, but the last time went there one of their "techs" bent the hood on my wife's Mirage, while trying to close it with the prop rod still in place. They would not offer to fix it, nor make any attempt to address my claim.
On a positive note, I took my Lancer in to a Mitsu dealership a few days ago for an oil change at 12,000 miles, free of of charge per their Triple Diamond Advantage program (which I haven't paid anything for), and offered to do a requested alignment for free, just for keeping me waiting when I arrived.
I hadn't purchased my car at that dealership either, so it was a real bonus to get the service for free. Besides the quality of service, it would cost me $29.00 for a regular oil change at the dealership vs. $35.00 at Jiffy Lube, so it's no contest. At least go to a reputable shop, and stay away from JL.

^^^ I still don't know why people don't think to call the police when something like a tech bending your hood occurs! Accidental or intentional damage doesn't matter, they damaged your car. You have every right to persue damages from either the "tech" or Jiffy Lube themselves, they carry insurance too you know....
