problems with my body kit

I am currently having carbon fiber and a body kit prototyped for my Lancer ralliart 04. The company that has my car has had it since december and keeps dicking me around about things being stuck in custom and they keep neglecting for the paint shop and tell me its just coming back. Does any one have any idea what I could do to get my car back, without them screwing me. I was supposed to have it done in february but it is now may. If any one has had experience with this kind of problem, or has any idea what i can do, let me know.

So they've had your car for over 4 months!!! I'm assuming that they are providing a rental car for you?

Maybe you should give them a deadline and if they can't meet it, tell them you want your car back 100% stock.

no rental its coming out of my pocket now. The car has no hood trunk because they were used for the proto carbon fiber production. They just keep telling me its almost done.

Depends. Do you have a written agreement that you were to get your car back in February? If so, you could take legal action.

Otherwise, you could just go down there and get your car. You'd be out of a body kit, though. Go there in person, tell them to put your stock parts back on, and take the car.

no way I give my car up without something in writing, and the company paying for a rental.

no car for 4 months and your paying rental you got burned sorry to kind of rub it in but people live and learn i guess. So get your car asap and see if you can still take them to court for all that money you had to spend the rental plus the money for gas in case the car you rented eat a lot of gas. GL with all that and keep us posted

when was the last time you've seen your car? Do you go to the shop to check on it regularly. This whole thing sounds kinda fishy to me.

Sounds like you were providing a rental car to THEM in my opinion.... I'd check the mileage and consider legal action. Consult a lawyer and see if you have a case.

call the BBB.
I would be interested to see what the heck you signed.

On another note, can you let me have $5,000 in cash to "borrow"? I promise to give it back as soon as I am done with it. I will be making some oragami out of it. I don't have a time frame for giving it back, let's say sometime before this century is over.

yeah i spoke with the company and the guy who has my car and they are going to try and see what they can do for my rental costs, and i should have my car done in a week or two.
He has informed me that the delay is due to the war and oversea shipping of metal materials. I have seen my car and it looks great it went to paint yesterday and we are just waiting for the hood and trunk.
