Hidden Switch.

So after i got my car and after taking it home and looking around a lot more i noticed a switch in the little cubby hole in the dash under the head unit. I flipped it up and down but i can't tell what it does. So does anyone have an idea what it is? Thanks.

Might have been for an amp, or something like that.

How about following the wires from it to see where they go?

for 02-03 lancers, we have been known to use that spot to hide switches for everything ..... i'll agree with Myszkewicz say follow the wires.

I have a bunch of switches like that in my truck. None of them do anything, as far as I can tell, and I don't care enough to tear apart the dash to follow wires.

my guess is neon lights or amp. Or maybe it is a test. If you flick it too many times your car will explode. WHO KNOWS!

That's the patented Quagmire giggity giggity goo switch. You flip it and your back seat folds down, some red lights come on, and Luther Vandross starts playing in the background.

Eject switch, oil slick, smoke screen, rocket launcher... I can't remeber which
It's probably not doing anything for you because it needs to be refilled, or more rockets loaded.

there's some little old lady in Nebraska who is pissed right now!! because everytime you flick that switch her lights go on and off!!

that could be a toggle for pretty much anything. I use to have a roller toggle there for my RF adaptor so I could hook my mp3 player or portable DVD up to my stereo.
