Roots isnt that great of a system i agree, but it is good at delivering instant power, which is what i like, they are somewhat problomatic also you are right.

Here's another thought, to help boost, you could do a hybrid NOS and SC. The nos would kick in instantly, by the time the engine got to 4-5k you would running of of the SC alone.

Any thoughts about combining these two?

Kinda like choosing between a Quarter Pounder and a Whopper. Sure they both can make you fat, but both taste soooooo good. It's just some people prefer the QP, while others go with the Whopper. Heck, some people love both!
