As for the exhaust sound, the Ralliart will sound very similar to an SRT-4. Turbo + test pipe makes that sound.

Hey guys give this guy a chance. This is a threa dthat should be locked because people do not know how to give good criticsm.
If you are looking at an SRT-4 for 17k, I would save for alittle while longer and get a used EVO. You will be FAR happier with an EVO and there are so many less things you have to replace in an EVO to get it to be an awesome car, the SRT-4 you will need lots of suspesnion work. The only props I give to the SRT-4/Dodge is the Staged kits that are supported by factory warranty...sweetness.
Also in 04 they upgraded to the LSD because it needed it although more so because they increased the power from 215 to 230hp. They also had to give a reason to increase the sticker price. I have personally driven an SRT-4 and an EVO and a Ralliart and a WRX. If you want handling the Ralliart and the EVO are more "sports" car like and are thus better. The WRX is built for the middle age market, with a few tweaks it can be unleashed but stock it isn't all that inspiring. The SRT-4 has gobs of body roll, it needs help. Although it is still a great car.
Keeping the Ralliart and putting a turbo on it I would say is a last resort. More times than a few factory HP will always be more reliable. Although I have read great things about the Ralliart turbo so far, it is just something to keep in mind.
I think you should get an EVO, although I have both a Ralliart and an EVO so of course I would say that.

Big points here for the "rumored" part. It is all in how you drive it. If you have fun your city will be 12mpg and highway may get to 25mpg.
It certainly doesn't look as good as the Ralliart. The ergonomics and space management in a F-body car are a joke. Plus they weigh around 3700lbs so it will be very boaty. I have driven a few f-bodies so I am speaking from experience. Plus you have to use premium and on that crappy 91 you have out there it will be pulling timing and knocking to put out what it was rated on in the Motor City with 94 octane when they dynoed the car. Expect whp with the 91 octane to be somewhere between 270-290whp.

i owned an 87 camaro with a carburated 350, i know exactly how they ride, and with the lowering springs that i had on it, the things was a dream and could outhandle the ralliart any day of the week.
i dont need truck space and stuff because i have nothing to carry around. and no you dont have to run 91 in the car but as for every car, its good for it

I am not going to talk you out of what you think. Although I can still have fun shooting holes through it. Hvae fun with your F-body. Here in michigan they are a dime a dozen. Nothing special, thats for sure.

Sure there is...although people are too lazy to have fun with it.
320 hp / 5.7 = 56.14 hp per liter - Camaro
162 hp / 2.4 = 67.5 hp per liter - Ralliart
Even with some mods on either car:
400 hp / 5.7 = 70.1 hp per liter
200 hp / 2.4 = 83.33_ hp per liter
Still better!
