Hi all
Hi all
First time RA owner here. Just want to say hi and thanks. I wasn't sure about getting one but all the info I found here changed my mind. So thanks all.
Anyway just picked it up last night. Very nice ride. Probably one of the best I've had. Now I have to figure out what I can upgrade without voiding the warranty too much.

Upgrade = void warranty.
If you're gonna mod it you're gonna void your warranty.
However, there are plenty of minor(bolt on) upgrades that have been around for a long time and dont cause much issues. If you already got your info then I would suppose you'd know what they are.
Enjoy and hope you stick around.

Actually, modding does not equal void warranty. There's tons you can do that the dealerships don't mind. Intake, exhaust, UD pulley, wheels, just to name a few. Actually nothing flat out voids your warranty. If the modded part directly affects the warranty problem you're in for, then yes, you may have a problem but the rest of your car is still covered. What I did was call two or three local dealerships and asked them before each upgrade I did. Congratulations on the new car, it looks great.
Thanks for the input.
I have an appointment Monday to get a new shifter knob and brake handle (don't like the leather) installed. The car was ready yesterday and the parts are coming in sometime today but I couldn't wait. Had to have the car as soon as it was ready. When I'm there I'll talk to the service manager to see what's good and what's bad.
First up though is tint and winter tires.

love the car, red is definatly looking good on the 06. CAI, Axelback, UD Pully would be a good place to start.. oh yah. get rid of the stock tires, you'll be doing it in 5000 miles anyways

I'm in the same boat. Didn't want to void my warranty either. So focus has been mostly visual.
Upgraded wheels, shift knob, eyelids, front grill, etc. those have been fun so far. being part of this forum has also been a big plus.
