OK I'm going to try this one more time.. Yes it makes sense what you DIDN'T DO the question is why the hell didnt you do it that way... HMMM Nitrous burns hot as **** and will also lean out your car because it is adding TONS of oxygen hence the oxide part.. Now when you add oxygen you have to add gas and when you add gas you change the A/F ratio and when you change A/F you should probably check timing and last but not least you may want to move to a slightly colder plug... OH YEAH THAT WHOLE TUNING THING DOESNT HURT EITHER..

Figure it out guys

Not quite yet, but I'm working on that. EvoScan will log our car, but it's not completely accurate so some of the numbers are off. I'm waiting for MalibuJack to come out with his logger so I can start trying to customize the forumlas for the Ralliart.

...just playing devils advocate, the rrm kit is a consistant , safe hp and torque ,with the lack of other mods even with the nos up to a 80 shot your going to have trouble with the ra turbo'd.....but by all means don't let me discourage you ...prove me wrong ......

on a 55 shot there is no need to add more fuel or adjust timing
on a 65 shot you change the jet on the brain and adjust the timing 1 degree
and on a 75 shot " " and adjust timing 2 degrees.

so since im running a 55 shot, theres no need to adjust the fuel or timing unless i want a larger shot.

Karma'sEvo,
Once we wonder past our world of the "Evolution section", logic begins to fade and things get screwy. This was the first and last attempt to try to add input in the N/A section of this site.

Good luck with that RA, hope she stays together.

Sorry, but I have to side with the Evo guys on this one. It's a good idea to have a means of adjusting timing and a way to monitor the A/F when going FI, even nitrous.....for the safety of your engine.

I just assumed you (Ralli04Art) would get to that eventually and be careful in the meantime from the way you stated it. Boost responsibly.....don't want to see you on the side of the road hailing a cab!

IMO, I value the input of most people if what they say makes sense. I get a lot of valuable information from all sections. And I actually agreed with you guys.

It just gets tiresome when the suggestions and comments come with arrogance and disdain, especially from Evo owners who stumble in here to pump their chests out. Just because we drive less expensive cars, that doesn't make us all idiots.

If you already melted a plug that should tell you something. Did you have a A/F monitor when you dynoed? You might pop that motor if you arnt careful.

Agreed, melting plugs shouldn't be an issue if everything is tuned and timed properly....

the reason for the melted plug is cuz the oem plugs are laser iridiums and i was running hot with 93 ocatane gas and spraying on the highway going 120mph + for an extended time. dont worry about my car. its all a learning experience. i take responsibility for my actions so thanks for yalls concern but i really dont need your advice atm. just enjoy that a SOHC n/a motor is making about 200 whp.

Your 100% right, I apologize if I came off as an all knowing ***. This was not my objective. With any group of enthusiasts you get your clowns and knowledgeable fellows, regardless of the price of your vehicle. Even when I pull out my Lotus Exige(chest pumping ) there are fellow owners that havent a clue about thier car and what it can do, truely sad. Knowing that you dont know everything and accepting this allows for a better knowledge of things. Being a stubborn ***, needed no input at this time etc...like this RA driver shows what I am talking about. Why post ?? Are you showing off? I dont get it..... Your recieving concern, aswell as valuable input from other enthusiasts, what gives??

END RANT

BTW Eclipse2Lancer whats "disdain" mean ??? I'm j/g

Just don't wreck your RA going 120 while spraying on the highway. I don't want my insurance to go up.
