Hey i was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap mods i can do to my 05 lancer ralliart i already changed the headlights and and fog lights to a real bright white and i changed all the interior lights to red to match the gauge cluster. Im pretty broke at the moment but id like to be able to do some stuff to my car cause i love workin on it.. any ideas.. i was also wondering if anyone knows if my warranty is void if i buy the evo 8 spoiler and put it on my car? i know that it creates more down force on the back tires so it might wear my tires down but i plan on gettin new rims/tires/ maybe brakes anyway so.. idk just wonderin if anyone knew. Thanks.

 

your worried about a spoiler voiding your warranty while at the same time asking about cheap mods?? no a spoiler wont void your warrenty, and if your worried about warranty dont mod because if you mod there is no garentee that it wont void your warrenty. To answer the question though rrm's underdrive pully is awsome and cheap, as well as the rrm SRI or CAI. look around the for sale forum here and you can find some good deals on RalliArt parts, i thinl Remundo is selling some stuff, check it out

 

the extra downforce wont help your car b/c its front-wheel drive.

Leave the car alone if your really worried about your warranty. Pretty much if you do an intake and your strut blows they wont care. but if you did a cam gear and your belt goes they wont cover it. that's the basic idea of how it works.

I was only concerned because my friends dad is a car dealer and said if i put the evo spoiler on my car and had an accident they wouldnt cover it... i wasnt sure so i thought id ask .. thnx

 

Yes although warranty is different from insurance. Some insurances have an aftermarket parts coverage that you may have to pay more money for.

Anyways, the UD pulley is a good inexpensive mod. Short ram intakes are also inexpensive and you could probably find a used one.

 

just a thought but , if it doesn't perform what do looks matter? or even if it does? it comes down to what you want. a car that looks like it performs and does, or one that doesn't perform but looks like it does.
