im told this will work for a mivec controller but its a bit pricy.

its mechanical, but who activates it, its the ECU
also about the guy who want it to kick in at 2,500, you first have to check, that the engine had the required OIL PSI to activate the mivec, because even if you send the signal to activates it , it wont activate till it had the required OIL PSI
just check out that first

This would be good for any car stock to heavy mod if it works well for mivec.

that's backwards. the oil pressure tells the ecu to activate the mivec, not the other way around. the sensor that controls mivec is set to 45psi(iirc) oil pressure.
what i mean was that the ecu activates it (to the guy who said "i think mivec was mechanical")
