get the piggy tuned? or get a ud pulley??

so im debating whether i should get my piggyback tuned or if i should get the ud pulley...

i find that going full throttle at 2nd gear seems to lack in speed/rev/power....(anyone else agree???)

i found that before the piggyback our cars were lagging at 2nd gear....and still im complain about second gear.....
what do you guys think???

Get tuned, hands down. Also, remember that the 1-2 shift is a huge jump in gear ratios, so it's always going to feel a bit laggy coming out of 1st.

sorry Otter have to slightly disagree with you there I think get the underpulley first then get the piggy tuned this way you are maximising the most and best results out of your car and will also be more cost effiecent

If you go the other way and get the tune then when you get the underpulley you will find that you will have to get the underpulley mods tuned up.. so that means two lots of tunes

The way I was looking at it is that if he can only afford one or the other, he's going to get more for his money by getting a tune. Later on, if he gets the UD pulley, it's not something that's going to require a retune. It's a good mod, but it doesn't make that much of a difference.

byc_panty, okay you've sold me. I need a retune. I'm lagging as hell on second gear. I mean, if I'm downshifting and coming out of a corner in second, its not as good as it was before the catback, but on rolling starts its fine.

It comes pretuned, however, it's a good idea to custom tune for your own setup to get the most out of it.
