If you are looking for cheap bulbs try ebay. But I must warn you that those off-brand ebay bulbs dont last very long. Nokya's are okay if money is an issue. I recommend PIAA Super Plasma GTX bulbs if you have the cash to spend. I bought a pair for my headlights and fog's. They are really white with a tiny purple tint.

Just grabbed some Silverstar ULTRA's of Ebay for $30 shipped. PIAA Super Plasma GTX are $60+.

The plasma's are expensive but definately worth it IMO.

I did like Silverstars and have used them in all my cars but, they don't last long.
I emailed Daniel Stern Lighting for his advice. He said the brightest without any coating which reduces output would be GE Nighthawks. After using them I concur.
Walmart has them (I am NOT a Walmart fan!).

watch out for cheap bulbs, they're known to burn out the harnesses

I wouldn't have a way to prove it. I know they are better than standard Silver Stars.
Are the Ultras coated?
