I don't know about exactly the same. You could cross reference part numbers to see if the Eclipse clutch is the same as the Ralliart clutch. But both will fit on the other's engine. The flywheels should be the same. Parts from both are interchangeable with each other but might have slight variations from one another and mean different part numbers. An aftermarket clutch kit for either will be the same and the same goes for an aftermarket flywheel. They are both 4G69 engines.

Example... The Lancer 4G94 engine and Mirage 4G93 engine have different clutches but an aftermarket flywheel and clutch for the Mirage will fit the Lancer engine.

this is the eclipse gs we're talking about, right?
i test drove one when i was getting an oil change done, the clutch and shifter felt much lighter than the RA's, i could almost just tap the shifter into gear.

it has the same engine code. Might have a slightly different front suspension due to the Eclipses heavy weight.

06 part numbers aren't online yet, so no way to compare part numbers unless you go hassle the guy at the parts counter. Flywheel is most likely the same, but the clutch and gearing are probably different due to the car being quite a bit heavier.

The straight4, yes. Its putting out the same hp as the RA. As far as the V6, it's a 3.8l 260hp I believe.

its 3.6L but yeah 260hp.

off topic but wonder what a swap from our 2.4 to that would be..?

it would be a cool swap if it would work

What is the argument at work?

I drove the eclips when it first came out. I wouldn't buy one. I could tell that it felt heavier before I even heard that it was. And it was just uncomfortable to drive. I'm about 6'2" 210lbs and I could get in and out but not as easy.
