It'll bolt up. However, I do believe you have to use the 4g63 oil pickup with any pan made for the evo. Don't quote me on it though. Sounds like that motor will be very torque happy!

Just buy the AMS/moroso oil pan. I have one on my 2.4 EVO and so do 3 of my other EVO budies.

The Tomei oil baffle is fine for a street car, but it doesn't do much unless the baffles are carefully bent (by hand) such that they just barely clear the crankshaft weights. All it does is pull oil off the crank to reduce windage.

The AMS setup is better suited toward a race car that will see high G-loading that can cause oil starvation.

I will probably take the car down the track a couple of times to see what it runs but I don't plan on racing it. It'll be for daily duty.

Do you still recommend getting this or running nothing at all and just keep the stock setup.

If you're going to remove the pan, the Tomei unit isn't a bad idea. I installed one myself. With the crank that close to the oil level, undoubtedly there is a fair amount of oil being thrown about. Just be patient while you're in there and bend those tabs such that they just barely clear the counterweights, and it will work as advertised.

Are you talking about the crank scrapper?
It won't work on a 2.4 with 100mm crank. You would have to gring the living **** out of it.
