Help with Lighting

Trying to get some nice lighting threw my stock headlights, without getting projectors and hid's. So I though about bulbs. I need some pure yellow bulbs for my fog lights and some blue bulbs for my headlights. I don't know no good brands for this so if somebody knows any good brands please tell me.

if you're on a budget or don't want to spend so much money on bulbs, i recommend nokyas. i have the arctic whites for my headlights and hyper yellow for my fogs. if money's not an issue, i'd get PIAA bulbs, although you'd be better off splurging alittle bit more for an HID kit.

get hid's u malaka jk. i had piaa's in my car and they blew out within 6 months. got them replaced and the new ones didn't even work. i went to another shop and they sold me these $20 xenon bulbs. now these things were bright as f@ck when i first put them on but it looks like they're slowly fading. but for $20 i cant really complain except that one side is brighter than the other. i'm gonna buy a kit soon and if i were u, get the hids and be happy u cheap gamias lol.

The best bulbs I ever owned were a pair of Raybrig Sonic Whites, really white w/ blue/purple tint. Those bulbs were used when I received them and lasted well over a year. They cost alot new but I think they would be worth the money. I know HELLA makes a cheap yellow bulb, but not sure on it's performance. I've only had bad experience with Silverstars as have most people.

Kiaxen HIDs search in the vendor forums they're having an EVOLUTIONM.NET sale from "autodoodad.com" he's the vendor. just type his name in the search box. $300 shipped priority to your door in 2-3 days. This kit is one, if not the best aftermarket kit out there. google their website and check them out for yourself. Those high "color" bulbs draw a lot of watts and can fry your light harnesses. Be very careful i did this on my previous car and it was almost as much to get that fixed as it would be to buy a HID kit alone. If you do make sure you buy some heavy duty harness adapters. Ask anyone that's had this happen to them it's not worth the cheap china bulbs...just my $1.17 thoughts...

So you want the most practical headlight bulb and you're look for a blue colored bulb? Blue doesn't help very well in driving conditions from what i've used. And i hear purples even worse. I suggest silverstars, had them for a long time now and they last up until they blow, no fading it seems. Also have the same setup for foglights, but now i'm using a yellow foglight setup for the winter. I forget the company but i've had them in for over a year + now and haven't blown them whereas with those 20$ "cool blue or hyper white" unknown kits i've gone through at least 2 fog light sets, and 3 headlight sets... (maybe its just my bad luck and no i don't touch the bulb...)
Just my 2 cents..
Good luck

Odd. I've had only good experiences with Silverstars since I started using them 4 years ago. I have them in my headlights and foglights, and am very happy with the light they put out. With the high beams and fogs on, I can see what's in front of me, and get a reflection from street signs over a mile and a half away.

So far the only time I wished they weren't so bright, was driving home in a blizzard. I ended up turning off the headlights, and driving home on just the fogs.

one of the first things i ever did when i got my ra was change the bulbs and i used the sylvania silverstars for both the fogs and heads but first of all the fog had to be the BIGGEST PITA to change...mainly because however had the car before me stripped the screws on the casing but on another note i just thought id check something out and i put my stock bulb back in the front right headlight and left the sylvania in the front left and the stock bulb looked whiter too me
