If I had my way I would have a few. Then I could do something different with each one. Perhaps even various colors.

 

When I can afford a new car (Evo) that will be my daily driver and babied. then turn my RA into a full track car! Ill show em what a N/A FWD lancer can do!

 

Sure it'll be fine until u see all those Evos at the track!

 

you would be surprised on how well these cars do on the track. and of course im not talking drag strip.. not my kinda game. Road Racing/AutoX is the true sports driving. And yes EVOs can be beaten by FWD and even N/A cars as well! I hang on to evos no problem at my loacal mountain pass. Just got to keep practicing!

Reminds me. 2 years ago, at Winged Warrior I, a club racer brought their STOCK Ralliart on slicks to the autocross. That car kicked the *** of most of the cars there and really showed what the Ralliart can do with a skilled driver. I wish I could find the results.

 

im probably gonna keep mine after i pay it off and have an STi as my baby. who knows, maybe by that time(2012) there'll be a car out there with the same price as the evo and STi but eats them both alive

 

I wanna keep mine as long as possible. I'm focused right now on keeping it looking like new. I figure with the miles I drive in a year, my warranty will be up by the 7th year (2011) and then I'll wait for the inevitable wear and tear to happen and upgrade parts as many years as I can until my car begs to be retired. Will cost more up front, but be cheaper than buying a new car.

There they are. Rick Swarts, 3rd category down. Him and his wife co-drove, and they were on Hoosier slicks. Other than that their car is stock.
He beat me by over 2 seconds......my car was still all stock, and that was my first event ever.

Once I hit 3 years with it its going to have roughly 35K miles, my plan is to have it forever, well however im not going to buy an evo since it is not worth the money to me.
