Keyless entry remote

My 04 RA did not come with keyless entry remotes. I think that the PO lost them, but is it possible that my car does not have a keyless entry system? Assuming they were just lost, what is the P/N, and can I buy them online and program them myself? Thanks.

They are lying if they said it doesn't come with them. Getting keyless entry wasnt an option on the car. Even in the brochure it said it was a standard thing.

They are EASY to program. Just buy a couple off of eBay and then program them. Follow the instructions below. BTW, I used a paper clip to jump pins 1 & 4.

When I got mine from the dealership(used) they said they only had one set and we didnt know if the previous owner might have kept them and maybe have stole the car later or something like that but then a couple weeks later we got a call saying they found the extra set and I was perty happy

Seems pretty simple to me. You connect pin 1 to pin 4 in the data port (under the dash by your right knee), put the key in the ignition, then press the hazard switch 6 times within 10 seconds. The doors should lock and unlock to tell you that the keyless system is ready to be programmed. Press the lock button on any remotes you want to program three times, and the doors should lock and unlock to tell you it worked. Once you've done all the remotes, remove the key and the wire connecting pins 1 & 4 in the data port, and you're done.

I did it just a couple of months ago, pretty easy actually. If you screw up or run out of time, just start over. You really can't screw anything up. Again, just use a paperclip to jump the two pins.
