keyless signals

My lancer came w/ keyless entry and up until a month ago, the signals would flash twice whenever i locked or unlocked the car. now when i use the remote to lock or unlock, no lights flash. i think it's weird because my signals work just fine when i use them to change lanes and my emergency signal works normally too. is anyone else's lancer having a similar problem?

Hold down the LOCK button for about 10 seconds, see if that does anything...

I think the manual might tell you how to reprogram the remote. That's what it seems like happened. I had mine programmed to not blow the horn.

ok fixed it .. hold the lock button down for 4-10 seconds and then press the unlock button (while the lock button is still being pressed) ... and that should switch it from each mode

make sure all your doors are shut properly.. I noticed that if one of the doors was just slighly ajar it wouldnt flash or horn, but it would still lock the doors... maybe one of your door sensors is out

It happened to ME again tonight! I think it must be something different than what you guys are talking about....I just locked and unlocked a few times and it started working again.

Strange.
