2003 lancer ES door unlock problem
Hello everyone,
Last night I noticed that when I unlock my doors (using the keyless entry remote) my 4 ways no longer flash, but the doors do unlock. But they still flash when I lock the car. I use the flashing when unlocking to actually locate my car in the parking lot of my work building, don't want to use the lock cause the horn would bother those still 'working'.
I am guessing its a relay or a fuse but I cant find it anywhere.
Any ideas of what might be causing this?

Problem solved! for those that have issues with keyless entry on lancer and evos the system to LOCK: horn sound plus turn signal light flash can individually be programmed.
in my case i had to unlock the car, hold the unlock key for 8 seconds and at the 8 second mark press and hold LOCK as well then release UNLOCK follwed by LOCK and you should hear a low frequency beep.
Since I didnt have an owners manual I had to contact a few people to get this done
