ok well i bought the header adn downpipe and catback exhaust from RRm with no CATs about 6 months ago and finally got tired of the CEL about 2 months ago and bought the CEL eliminator from them and i put it in the second O2 censor and then disconnect the neg on the battery for about 10 to 15 min then i turn on and let sit for 5 min ... but after i drive for about 30 to 40 miles the CEL comes back on and i cant get it to stay off.. any advice please?? thank you

 

get the high flow cat. have the same setup with their high flow cat and didnt even need the CEL eliminator.

Yeah, hfc will make the car sound better but in terms of the CEL eliminator, best to ask RRM.

 

People seem to have this issue with RRM's cel eliminator. Not sure what the deal is since I haven't seen it in person. When I last had the catless downpipe, I made a DIY eliminator out of two 18mm antifoulers and didn't get a CEL for 15,000 miles.

 

i cant run any type of cat because i am currently using spray and supposedly nitrous just eats away at the cats so it would be a waist of money for me?
