Not sure where it's coming from. It's not from the speakers, because I hear it even when the radio is off when I go over bumps and stuff. It sounds like maybe a spring/coil hitting against a hard surface. I suspected it could be from the seatbelt recoiling mechanism or something? Any thoughts on this??

 

a rattle in a Ralliart?! That is unheard of! jk man. Get used to it. Ralliart is a rattly car.

 

Sounds like the lower b-pillar rattle. I've never found it, but it's probably the seat belt mechanism.

I always hear a rattle coming from the driver front door next to the tweeter. It should be in the service bulletin at the mitsu dealer so they should know what it is. Ill be having mine done once i go in for the 45K service.

 

I've been searching the TSBs (technical service bulletins) but haven't found anything on the rattle I'm talking about. There is a TSB for rattles coming from speakers in the door when the radio is on, but mine rattles even when the radio's off.

It's just a bunch of snap clips holding it all in. Remove the pivot for the seatbelt, then pull the covers off.

B pillar comes off pretty easy. It is better than the radio surround with the clips that always end up falling into the dash.

 

i get a "squeak" sound that i think is coming from my seat when i take a turn semi sharp or when i launch...i think the seat may be a lil loose?

i have so many rattles it doesnt bother me anymore. the like to mess with me and rattle from one side of the car to the next... lol. Sometimes i dont hear anything. my car likes to mess with my brain....

 

heh...i got the sunroof and that thing has a pretty annoying rattle

 

RA's love to rattle. i think its listed under the features no but honestly when i first got mine i thought i had a blown speaker. pulled it into the install bay when i worked at best buy and looked at it.....no problems....they just like to rattle
