Awesome, will be ordering it when I get home. Oil temp would have been cool too but all the other data is pretty cool.

Can you plug in a cable? That's how easy it is.

I am not sure about that one. I still run the 16s on mine. The software on the guage has been updated since I bought it and you could check their website or give them a call and ask. It is a cool product though.

Just go to setup mph and you can change the % in increments of -+ 1

It is a nice unit.

Had this thing almost a year and recommend it to anyone. Its popular on 'fuel saver' forums as you can monitor your fuel consumption in real time (not just an average after a trip) and you can see how changes in how you are driving can save you fuel - so its a tool that earns its purchase cost. I like some of the added codes you can put in like current horsepower usage etc.

That's awesome Ryan_VRX06, good to know a fellow Aussie has one and can confirm they convert imperial/metric. I emailed thinkgeek and they told me it doesn't..

If I end up keeping my lancer after getting a house I will definitely be investing in one!

After using it for 3 months I can say I have learned how to drive more efficiently and gainned at least 20 miles to the tank or more, some times 40.

I specially like to see how many miles/gallons to empty tank and similar options.

It is a good buy.

So I just picked one up from the net. My speedo gets disabled when i plug in the unit. Does anyone know how to get my Speedo to work with it plugged in? It works when i disconnect the Scangauge.

*Update* - just took my car out to pick up the misses and the speedo works now, :S strange, didn't really do anything to fix it.

totally works in Australia. I have the first 2.4L Lancer in WA back in September 2005 - and it works on mine brilliantly. Have it set to Litres per 100km, KM/H (more accurate than the dial) Water Temp and one of the 'xgauge' user programmed ones that shows how much horsepower I'm using at any time. We've definitely saved fuel since buying it like, 2 years ago, seeing your consumption real time means you can really see how much you use when going how much over the speed limit when cruising etc. :P

It didn't work in my brothers Evo VI, but thats a somewhat modified Japanese import, so who knows.

Highly recommended, available i think from the scangauge website, but I got mine for a good price at www.thinkgeek.com - great gadget online shop
