Get your valve lash adjusted!

Alright I thought the motor was a little noisy but nothing crazy. I would have messed with this myself but I told her to take it to the dealer. We got it back and the motor is silent when running. If you think you can avoid this then don't. You will appreciate the quietness and the seems to rev better too.

So the point here: Get your MIVEC adjusted!

I think he's talking about the valve lash or some kind of reflash for the ECU

Joe, did they perform the adjustment while the engine was hot? one dealership is telling a member the adjustment needs to be done cold, and everything everyone has read/heard/researched points to hot, not cold.

The car was brought in from driving it across town so I think that would be hot...
