my friend just got an mr2, and for some reason it made me think "i wonder if anyone has thought of/made a convertible ralliart?" so has anyone? wouldn't it be cool?

 

i havent heard of anyone even thinking about it, if you decide to do it your RA would be one of a kind.

IMO i think it would look terrible on a 4 door sedan. maybe if the RA came in 2 door it would change my mind.

Convertibles are for girls. If you do that to a car that was not meant to be a convertible you're going to reduce it's structural integrity, which is bad.

why? I'm not making fun of Latino's. I am saying they have crazy lowriders and those are the ones that should be convertibles not Lancers or modern day sedans...

From what I have seen on the net, the Latino's have a whole lot of knowledge in those lowriders, and it is not to be done on to a Lancer(IMO) hence I made that comment. I don't think it is offensive, their work is amazing and I never knocked their product. I also don't see it as stereotyping, as I don't see many caucasian or asian or indian people with lowriders as much as Latino/Hispanic people do. I also never said they are the only ones with lowriders, but on the internet I have seen some really amazing work done by the Hispanic people.

Don't take it the wrong way I have nothing against any race, this forum is multicultural so I wouldn't make a comment if I didn't think it was acceptable.

But maybe you can Cut and weld back your RA, so you make it a Coupe, and then you cut the roof, maybe it look better than 4DR convertible

But I think it will be cool to make it 2 Doors, like the green evo with CF or black bumpers, of someone, hehehe i have seen it a few time, on google or here I dont know
