Underglow????

Okay, im to lazy to search the forums because thats a lot of effort.

Im in the market for some blue underglow for my car. I know let the flamming begin but on a pearl white car, blue neon wouldn't look to bad. Now I've found a kit thats going to cost about 100$. Installation should be about 50. Now my question is i heard that underglow can affect ABS. Has anyone here heard of problems with underglow on a RA??? any problems at all would be great. I dont care to hear that its illegal to have on while driving or have on period because i for one dont give 2 ****s about whats illegal on my car

Any info regarding underglow on my RA would be awesome. Thanks guys!

Any info? Don't do it...it reduces your gas mileage and you lose what little horsepower. You have to change your transmission fluid every 2weeks due to the lights creating bubbles in the fluid that can only be removed by A: burping the system B) changing fluid

if you have the cash, $150? Go for it...

What's RICE Is sometimes what people would consider NICE.
to each their own man. I dont personally like em..buuuuuut
You get what you pay for.

Cheap tubes can shatter, break, blow...

I mean... We all could buy performance parts off of ebay.. but we choose to buy from RRM cause we know it'll work.

I dont see how it is going to create bubbles in my transmission line, or reduce my horsepower i just dont see how that is possible. LED's don't get as hot as regular lights. And its not like im driving for hours on end with my neon on.. I had already talked to the guy about the rumour it ruins ABS. He says the only way that would happen is if i put a hole in my brake line. Could you explain how its going to take away horsepower and mess with my transmission fluid.

I only say things once. Do whatever you want, it's your car, you pay for it!? However, the dealer doesn't warranty transmission problems due to underglow...once they jack up your car and see the neons(if they don't bust a bulb by mistake doing so) they'll immediately deny the warranty.

Good old mitsu ...

You don't see how it creates bubbles, i don't have to explain it's just one of those things that you're like "how the ef?" ...you just live with it

When I worked at a Honda Dealership I would occasionally break neon tubes on civics after lifting them on the drive on lift. One of the best parts about that job.
