I get it all the time too, "Is that an Evo?" Most people don't know what a Ralliart is. I never see them on the road. Mostly the base models and some OZ's. Maybe its just where I live.

Then some people I know, they know I drive a Ralliart and they think my car is AWD. They seem confused when i tell them front wheel drive.

Funny thread. More often than not my car is confused more to be a Lancer than an Evo.

 

i had a guy come up to my car at a big car meet and ask me what car mine was .... i was like.. a lancer and he said oh that's what it looks like?? lol and he also went up to my friends Is300 and ask what car that was too.

 

I always get that. Especially after I got my rims. My friends know it annoys me so they are always like "is that an evo john?" when I want to show them something. One of my favorites is this one guy was talking crap about my car making himself sound like he knew all there was to know about cars and then he made this statement when someone said something about my car. "Whatever, EVOs arent ****!"

 

I've had a kid come up and ask me "so how many turbos does that have"

i didnt know what my car was when it was first bought... it was my graduation present from my Dad... lol. i kept thinking i had some base lancer and that it was slow, until one day my dad and I had a conversation about it and my dad was like you know i got you the sports version of the Lancers basically. then i felt real stupid but happy that it wasnt slow. haha.

anyways, Ive had alots of people mix my car up with regular Lancers more than the Evo.

 

haha my friends do the same....usually I just mess around and im like yup its got 8 turbo's and its a Inline 12........ 3,00hp. But people don't expect much out of my car
