See, now this is why I don't crack down on newbs posting repetitive questions. Really, there's not much left to talk about on our car. Most of the posts that come up will either be people who just bought the car used with common questions, or people coming up on maintenence issues. The Ralliart wasn't popular, and it won't get any more popular as a used car. There are just too many better options. Also, concerning this particularly forum section, chances are the new Ralliart won't be discussed in this section. I forsee the forum having some level of reorganization, since the 4B11 Lancers have nothing almost nothing common with the 4Gxx Lancers. Not sure how that'll work, though I do have my own ideas and suggestions for the site owners.

Also, stEVOx, you're signature implies that I was giving +1 to the statement above, which would be entirely inaccurate.

Well, since our engines are in other cars, I don't feel too bad. That's what I was thinking too. When they stop developing parts for the RAs, we'll just have to find cars that use the same parts as us. Hopefully it won't be too hard. It was was unfortunate that our cars did not take off. Well, when my car brakes, maybe by that time, evo 8 parts will be cheap.

i was just wondering... its kinda off, but still on the subject a little bit...
i am trying to find a axle shaft for my 04 RA
and i cant find an 04 that still has one on it (cars from junkyard), and so i was just wondering if the 05 and 06 ralliart have the same part number(same axel shaft) as my 04, cuz i have found a few 05's that still had them on it.

i could check it myself on ALLDATA but im not at school right now, so i wont be able to untill monday and im trying to buy this part this weekend, and put it on, so any help would be great...
and i live in PHOENIX, AZ for any of you who live here, and so give me a shout if you know about a good auto parts place around

Thing is, any current 4 cylinder Mitsu engines won't last, since Mitsubishi will be phasing them out in favor of G.E.M.A.-built engines.

They'll be identical. Nothing changed from 04-06 except for aesthetic items. All mechanical parts are interchangable.

wait, there's an aftermarket for the RA? why didn't anyone tell me!?!

on a serious note, I'm looking to trade up soonish(tm). Was leaning towards a 335i, maybe an evox.... but now i might hold out for the us release of the gt-r, depending on what they actually bring to the states.

I haven't heard of G.E.M.A. So basically anything "pre" G.E.M.A from mitsu will be phased out? That kind of sucks.

the new gt-r's are gonna cost around $75k and you currently have an RA? you must have gotten a huge raise at your job

As far as 4 cylinder engines go, yes.
