Chances are the noise is coming from the engine bay, not the dash. I'd hesistate to let them tear out the dash, too, as they'll probably create new rattles when they put it all back in.

my car pulls to the left too, i was just thinking that i need to get it realigned and i hear the vibrations too, it seems to come from the same left side...hmm..if it is the shocks..is that a fairly easy fix?

i';m starting to notice these squeeks and rattles
the pull is from uneaven road surfaces, i have the same problem some days it'll pull to the left some to the right, if im on a newly paved road it'll go straight.

the main problem i have is after i cold start in the morning and turn the wheel i hear a sorta chunky grind noise coming from my driver side cv joint, the tecks just tell me its dust and stuff from the road...

i also have the consol noise on my 06 but its probably from my sound system :P

Make sure there's no gravel or anything in the lower spring mount. That's been known to cause some noise.

For those who have the glove box rattle, just pm me and I'll explain you what to do to stop this rattle. It's pretty simple and only takes 1 minute...

My dash only rattles with the AC on at exactly 3,000 rpm. Of course I could prob blame that on my motor mounts. The Evo guys too complain about dash rattles.

Just by looking at the interior, I think it can be expected that ALL lancers will have an annoyance or two.
