that sounds like an alignment issue if the car is pulling left or right.

for me, there is a really annoying sound coming from the black plastic piece that keeps the speedometer in place. it will rattle like crazy sometimes and the only way to stop it is by pressing it down.

I always here of RA onwers with problems with their cars. I have an 04 and yet to encounter a single problem with 55k on it. Guess on one of the lucky few i guess. You could always turn up your music?

Yeah, I have the same problem from the same general area but to my knowledge it's the plastic from the top of the steering column.

I found it to be just like an old Zenith...Just pound on it a few times and it'll usually clear right up!

I have 50k on mine and no squeaks..but my friend's Volvo S Luxery sedan sounds like a circus-so there you go...just because the RA has plastic doesn't make it cheap..its put together well..our 30k+ subaru has plastic dash and doors but is the best made car we've ever had..(does have all leather)..all cars do, even high end ones, it will be plastic or composite to cut weight, but will look leather or whatever..grow up.....persoanlly, the Mazda3 looked cheap to me..like an old Vega..esp the middle console...plus, it was loose (on a new car!)...now, if you want a car that rattles, buy a pontiac or chevy..in 2yrs those ****ers fall out..i had one of each not long ago...all in all, been very impressed with both my RA and our Eclipse...basically, stay away from Detroit and u can't go wrong.
