Rpw
Yeah it totally sucks, I hate how RPW is like... a 30 minute drive away! oh the unfairness of it all!!
Having said that I am too broke to do any serious mods from them, but I did get my K&N filter put in there :-)

I think RPW does have a couple of distributors n the states now.. not sure if I am allowed to mention them on this forum but check with RPW and find out more details... shipping is not that bad really I suppose it depends on what you are ordering I know over the past year I have bought a number of parts from the U.S and freight was not that bad
None of which cares to answer an email these days. Seriously, if RPW wants money from anywhere in this country, they should care more about how poorly they are represented.
I sent "Russ" at tearstone performance 4 (FOUR yes, FOUR) emails asking if they carried the 4g69 header as I didn't want to pay $700.00-$800.00 for it through accolade (a price which, btw is about the most ridiculous I've seen for a part for our cars yet). They don't even care enough to list the part properly: on their site its listed as a header for a 2.0 2004 lancer ralliart. Awesome, great, they totally care and know all about our *2.0* ralliarts. So ya, back to the original rant, tearstone never answered.
I'm glad they are doing well and I think it's awesome they are working on stuff for our car. I think its pretty damn sad that the only people they have swingin' their schwag here in the states couldn't care less about helping them.
Before you flame me, try emailing russ, or anyone over at tearstone to see if the lights are even on over there. You may be surprised at how long you end up waiting. I wanted the rpw short shifter and they didnt reply, so I went to elsewhere, I was interested in the RPW header but they never replied, so again... That right there is $700.00 -$800.00 someone else coulda made by just replying. Bottom line, if you're in the US. Good luck getting an RPW product within a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price, I didn't know it could be so hard to spend money!

Hey booze, I've had dealings with RPW. I've had a good experience (in most cases).
Based on what you're telling me, I think that is poor marketing from RPW and associates both from the promoting and customer service side of things. They should at least reply or acknowledge your emails. I for one stand for customer service.
You should've been treated better.

As far as calling them, no. Sorry, I'm just a turd. I can, and have purchased nearly everything else I've needed either in person or online, I hate making phone orders. End result: I got what I wanted, just money spent elsewhere on alternative products. A company with a web page and an online catalog has absolutely NO EXCUSE for why they can't answer a damn email.

So where on our website does it say the ralliart is a 2.0 model? I have checked most of our headings and they all say the lancer ralliart model is the 4G69 2.4 model. Its a large website and if I have missed something somewhere, then point it out to me and I am happy to fix it.
Tearstone performance has mainly been specialising in the eclipse / galant range but he does have on his website a section on the 2.4 lancer. The link is below

They are usually very veyr good in customer response, but like myself, its easy to get over whelmed with emails. Its not unnusual to get over 40 emails a day, and you don't always get a chance to respond back to 40 a day.
People are always welcome to order via the RPW online website store if they wanted to. We can provide qoutes on shipping etc and have quite a few options on hand. This is what we have found the majority of lancer customers use for the systems we are sending to the USA. The most pppular package seems to be our headers and flex (Down) pipe package minus the cat converter.
I don't get the chance much these days to hop onto forums, but if there is a questoin or a problem I will always try to get back to someone on it. I have MSN, AOL and quite often speak to people when I am home, outside of working hours. Cheaper than a phone call.

so you do all that extra talking, and 40 emails is alot?
I get that many emails at my work, and I am EXPECTED to find time to answer them around my regular work. that's why I have an email account. it seems to me that you aren't making a very good argument for them not answering emails. if they have that much business they need to hire an email salesperson to answer their emails.

There is answering emails and answering emails. I could hire someone to do it here , but if they don't know a thing about cars or the product line, then the result would be that most of them would be left alone because he couldn't answer them.
Its the age old problem, I don't know about the USA but in Australia, especialy perth we are booming at this moment and as a result staff are extremely difficult to find, every business I know is looking for staff. Our mining industry is pulling spare staff in droves with high wages and the result is that those people left behind are usualy unskilled, very young or not worth while in the first place.
I Can't comment on tearstone for not answering emails, they are a seperate business to me. They can sell or not sell as they choose. That is why people can either buy from RPW direct or from them. Any business in the USA can purchase and market our products.
But I have forwarded this link to them to let them know that people are having issues with there response and allow them to try and correct the situation.
