sorry i was typing from my phone. plus it was like 9 oclock at night and i was outside with a flashlight in my mouth and a walmart ratchet in my hand with 2 three inch extensions stuck together haha.. it was too dark to take a picture i got half of the plug out with my wrench the other half i had to stick a piece of gum on a screwdriver and pull the plug out. soon as i finally got it out i dropped it and lost it somewhere under the engine. i got lucky it didn't hurt my car

hmm i had a cylinder 4 miss fire about a week ago, but i didnt think that there could be any damage to my plugs cause my car runs fine...is it possible...or could it be that my plugs just need to be replaced cause they could have alot of build up on them...

with the older mazdas and lancers the plugs should be fine. I dont even want to rehash Miss Rose's situation. In my personal opinion, if you read over the full story you will notice that she / he installed the incorrect sized plugs, ran the car for a while, realized that they were the wrong plugs, then installed the proper sized plugs for a while, then had a failure. You could argue up and down if the plugs failed or if it was human error.

old more straight forward engines will have no problem with this technology, recent more advanced setups even none turbo ones will be extremely picky and WILL require a special piggyback unit to compensate for variances in operation.

I already did an indepth review of these plugs, bottom line they are dyno proven in front of my own eyes to provide 3tq. unfortunately they MIVEC do not like the delayed discharge of the plugs, idealy if plustar had a 50% less smaller capacitor I think you would get a good balance between compatability and performance.

If I had a race and wanted every edge I could then i would install these in my 08, but because the 08 ignition system is very picky, I would uninstall it due to the rough idle. Plugs burned clean after 10,000km and the check engine light was not a hardcode.
