Otter and others, you make it sound like it's some kind of miracle that you have as many miles on a N/A dog as you do.

It's nothing new for gutless non turbo cars to go well in excess of 200k without any major problems with regular maintenance.

Face it you want to bees just have a Mitsubishi version of a Honda Accord.

Oh and FWIW my 03 8 has 82K and would be a LOT more if I didn't split between other vehicles. Only major thing done is a clutch, other than that just regular maintenance. I expect many more years of trouble free use.

I'm not a fan of putting turbos on non-turbo cars, especially when there aren't any proper tuning solutions. As for shoes, the car is already on new summer rubber this year.

80,000 on my 04 ralliart..had just about every clutch issue in the book but its doing better now..and I have a wiring problem i think because my trip odometer resets to zero everytime the car turns off and I have an Alpine 7" lcd that won't power on so it has to be related.
And my anti-lock brake light turns on when i hit 45 mph or so...?
Still smokes them civics and i've taken care of a few Mustang gt's...only lost once to a celica gts with intake and exhaust haha
