just wondering (as this is the 1st time i seen this on a car), but.. why vortex generators?

By the looks of it those vortex generators are designed wrong.. in order for them to have any effect they need to have an angle of attack towards the airflow and since a car doesnt have control surfaces like a plane I dont think they are of any use...

^^^^ actually the VG helps the downforce on the EVO it really doesnt do anything on the RA since it really cant reach speeds that the Evo can like over 120mph. the only reason i have the VG on my car was because when i bought the car the VG was already on it (mitsu dealer install)cause i wouldnt buy one if my car didnt bring it

Every picture I see is with a shorty antenna or something..and does only Rexspeed make these?

The VG just slides over the entire antenna housing, so it can be used with any antenna. When I had an Evo spoiler on the OZ I wanted one bad...but ended up selling the spoiler. After that, I personally didn't think it'd look right wingless.

this is not for looks on the Evo. Mitsu has a tech article on their website about the VG, I will see if I can find it. It was designed exactly as they wanted it.

lowers drag and adds downforce, from my brief glance over it and what I remember from reading it the first time.
