Quick few questions possibly simple answer!!!!!

HI EVERYONE,
Like I said before and before I get flamed, I use search and am in IRAQ sooo dont have all day to look soooo dont flame, just help if you want or pass on buy!!!!!

To those who help, thank you in advance, My few questions are number 1 , I am going to purchase or want to purchase some forged rods, (yes I know ours are forged but no one knows the limits soooo dont flame, my motor soooo I will do it right and not worry about it later on) will our OEM bearing fit in the rods, there EAGLE rods for a evo 8. Number 2, does anyone happen to know if we use the same main bearings as the evo engine? I cant find part numbers on the net for them and like I said I searched or if you just want to give me the web sight that would work to. I dont mind looking for info.

Thanks again
Paul

im not 100% sure, but i think all evo parts are different, either there smaller, due to the 2.0 engine, or there bigger cause of the turbo...so i know they wont fit, but if someone wants to correct me, then feel free to do so haha...

the problem youll run into there is that in mitsu's there are letters and colors codes to everything bearings such as a bearing in my engin will be like orange a and yours might be yellow b same part but not interchangable.

The rods from the evo 8 do fit, PR MIVEC has proven that and there is a list off most parts that are the same as ours from the engine on an evo. Acutally IF we could change out our wiring harness for a evos we would be able to put there dual cam head on our short block. The rods are the same but our pistons are bigger. What I really need to know is if I can just use my stock bearings in the forged rods or not. They should fit I would think since the rod its self would have to me made to manufactures specs. Just need a simple yes or no. If they dont then I will get th vin number and contact a company and get some brearings.
