when my car is idling i can faintly hear a sqeaking noise coming from under the hood. cant figure out if its a belt of what.... it does this constantly when parked. anyone ever had this problem before

oh yes i had that too, it went away somehow

 

how many miles.. try popping the hood and isolating the sound...

Honestly it might be the accessory belt, or you might just be due for a 60K service early..

 

on about 48,000 miles

 

I've had this problem before but it just went away after time.. haha but 48k miles sounds good for a 2004 RA! i'm impressed! i wonder if there's any lower...

many of us have this problem use the search button this is a well disscused problem, check and see if were your clutch slave connects the the tranny is making the noise just hold it or push in the cluthc pedal and see if it stops.
