Cool Life after Ralliart

I just wanted to know how long you guys/gals are planning on keeping the iron beast for, and what do you think your next car will most likely be (keep it realistic).

For me, I plan on keeping mine another 5 years or so unless it REALLY starts to fall apart, and then look into something with AWD like a WRX (for all the snow!) or even check out Toyota/honda's offerings at that time. Either that or I'd look into a hybrid when gas prices get really out of hand.

What are your thoughts for the road ahead?

I'm hoping she lasts long enough for me to buy a hydrogen powered car.

Probably move to something all-wheel drive also, but I might get a bike this summer if I can, so we will see.

keeping the lancer until somebody is really interested in buying it. use that money as a down payment for an evo... I will be taking the ralliart off the road in 2 months and keep it a garage/show car and buy a 01 Jetta as a daily driver. Evo after the ralliart is sold.

i plan on keeping it forever, but the next car would definitly be AWD within the next 5 years.

seeing an evo (or any performance AWD car) take off from a dead stop is simply amazing.

i have my sights set on a white evo 9, but it's tough knowing it will be used and abused no matter where i get it from.

I haven't decided. In all likelyhood, I'm keeping the car until it explodes. It'll be completely paid off before the end of this year. At that point I'm considering picking up a project car and keeping the Ralliart as my beater/work car. As for what project/track car, it'll depend on what I can find for cheap, but either a Starquest or Miata.

I want to go back to my BMW roots. Late 80's first generation M5 with the inline 6 if I can find one in good condition. By then I'll probably have kids and need something a little bigger.

yeah, i want to get a bike within the year. it would be nice to keep my RA, my first car, all paid off... but i'd be willing to trade it in and put a down payment on a evo 9 with low miles, but thats if i can convince my mom, but... yeah, asian parents are no bueno sometimes...

Deff gonna stay with the lancer, 1st choice would be an evo 8 or maybe 9, if not then the new 09 ralliart. I'm not a big fan of the evo X and having an RA thats AWD would just be sweet =]

I've grown so much into my ralliart since it's my first car so I don't ever want to sell or trade it. I bet the car can run up to 200k+ miles; like 10+ years. I'll pass it down to my kids haha. I'd like to pick up an 8 or 9 WW evo or the upcoming ralliart like joey. I'm not enticed by the X either. Keeping mitsubishi in the family
