is this true
Do some googling/research on octane boosters. I'm not well versed in them, but I'm under the impression that they're ineffective. Consider that most race drivers go out of their way to purchase 100/104/116 octane fuel, at incredibly high prices ($7+/gal) instead of something easy like octane boosters, I would suspect that my impression is true.
It seems when I ever I use Ocatane booster my car runs hard for like the day I out it in and like half of the next day and by the time im at about half a tank its done for. Just get the high octane gas. 93 isnt that expensive, think about it, you get 10 gallons thats only $2 more. Were already paying out the *** may as well get the good stuff.
i used to use boosters in an older american car..but the math is for the $ of the booster, just go ahead and get 93 octane. I heard of some dumbasses who poured 2.5 bottles of booster on top of 93 and **** blew up or something..lol...i never use them anymore..always use 93 sometimes 89 octane.

they don't really boost it much..read the bottle rating..they boost like 3 points or so but a "point" is .05 of a ocatne point or something etc..so if you use a booster on 89 you may only boost it to 89.5 or 90..read how the rating works..its not what u think.
