Well, I did it. Traded in my RA yesterday for a new Mazda Miata. Got the touring model with 6 speed and the power retractable hard top. I pick it up this afternnon. I haven't been a big poster on this board, but I have enjoyed it. Best of luck to you all and I hope the 2009 RA is all you hope it to be.

 

I live Miatas. Many of my friends talk trash, but they don' t know anything about cars. My friend's dad used to track race Miatas back in the mid and early 90's in Socal. He would spank Porches and all kinds of other cars with his street car. He also had a built Rotary powered race car.

 

i'm not a fan of honda at all, but if you were goin for a 2seater roadster, you should have gotten an S2000

 

I love miata's the older one's were ugly but the newer one's look good. Awsome autoX cars and road race cars. Post some pictures

 

i heard miatas were mostly bought by gay people. its just what i heard. probably unrelated to your story

it might be a girl's car but it kick a$$ in autoX. I saw a very good driver beat a 400 hp wrx with a miata 3 weeks ago in auto X. in his first run, he did 1 second better than everybody. it tooks 3 run before someone was able to beat his time.
