my ralliart, for a 2004 or 05 WRX...ive had fun in my RA but i want more power, and the limited aftermark support...plus i want something turbo and awd...ive found some for 14k but they were automatics, i want a 5spd ofcourse...so ill keep you guys posted on what i decide to do...

 

i feel you man! i've gone through the same faze plenty of times! i couldve gotten a dodge srt 4 instead of the RA, but even though its more power, its ugly as ****. I even made a thread on the OT asking for peoples opinions whether i should trade in my car and pay off the difference for a used evo with the loans i can get through the school, haha. but no matter how cool and unique the RA is, I would like more power, and I'd also say the WRX is the next best thing for the money, so good luck with your choice!

 

thanks alot norcal...yeah i found an STI for 21k but i dont really want an STI...dont know why, i just like the WRX better, there isnt really much of a difference, sure, bigger turbo and intercooler, a big wing, BBS wheels and brembo breaks, but that about it, they have the same damn motor haha im going to look at some today...

 

They say the 04 STi is the year it was closest to the STi. My dad has one for sale at his carlot here but its in Ohio...

how much do you think your RA is worth now? or how much do u think u can get it for? one thing that stopped me was kbb saying my car was only woth like 10k and i dont even have 20k miles on it yet...

well ur car is an 06 and in this case, years seem to matter a lot, haha. but if i were to enter my info for my car right now at kbb, im sure i would get the price tag of 10k and my car has the sun and sound too. wutever, i painted my stock rims, that just means im keeping my car for good...

yeah im also thinking of trading for more power, but have to wait till im 21 in 6months(stupid power to weight ratio laws) but i might try and get a second hand evo, or r33 gtr but they are still expensive to keep going - uni student so i am poor - then then my next option was to be the 09 RA or WRX but they still will prolly be out of range dammit ...
so if i cant get those i might just keep her or trade for a 09 VRX (GTS) fully optioned ... but we shall see, anywaiz good luck with ur purchase

From the RA, you need to move onto turbo awd! You won't look back.. besides, as we all know the moment you buy a Mitsubishi here in Aussie, your car is worth half right away! Don't get the 09 VRX, get an imported EVO or WRX!
