hey is anyone else having a problem with the red paint chipping off their car?
I have taken it back to the dealer and they have said that it was not normal.

 

Not sure about peeling, but I've seen red fade pretty quickly.

 

mitsu paint sucks and red is the worst. i get chips all through mine every year and it seems i can constantly touching it up. its horrible!

 

i have an 06 red RA... HORRBILE, i have stone chips all over my hood and other random spots on the car... what can we do about this...? warranty does not cover this. more chips after a year on my lancer than an 10 year old corolla

 

Mine has chips all over also. The paint is slightly faded on the plastic part where the license plate goes.

 

The paint is so bad its frustrating to take care of, if its faded all you can do is clean it up and detail it. I have got alittle richness of the paint to come back out but not a whole lot. Best thing to do is to repaint if you have the time and money.
