Sorry, noob question. But how much do our cars weight? 04 RA with s&s? I was just wondering?

i just weighed my 05 mt with S&S about a month ago at the track and it was dead on 2800 pounds. i had no spare tire in the trunk though cuz really who does that when you're trying to go fast. so add a few pounds for that lol.

never realized our cars where that heavy!!!
or rather that my previous MR2 was that light at just 2040 pounds!!
wonder if I could get rid of 900 pounds on my lancer! :-P

Take off all the body panels. Then you might be close.

Wow, that much! I was thining 2700. So were around 180-170 hp in a almost 3k pound car. :-(

It's pretty hard to find a modern 4 door car that weighs less than 2900 lbs. Crash bars and airbags are heavy.

still you would think we would be ligther with that thinner front windshield and aluminum roof.
How much does an OZ weights since they don`t have those lightweight features?
