60,000 Miles service/MOD upgrade

Hey guys,
Im coming up on my 60,000 miles on my 04 RA. I was just planning to let Mitsubishi do the 60,000 package, but I also wanted to get some other things done. Am I missing anything.. and are some of these unnessasary?

1. Clutch/Flywheel upgrade.. Any suggestions on brand just for street?
2. Struts.. Ive had Tein S Techs for awhile.. maybe upgrading to basics, but do they look that much better?
3. SS Brake Lines
4. Short Shifter
5. Brake pads... best brand?

Missing anything?

you could just research how to do the 60k stuff yourself (takes 1 - 1 1/2 days if you havent done it before) and take the $500 you save and buy some better stuff for your car =]

I think RRM will have all the stuff you need.
I cant say much for the stuff you are looking for exept the
Short Shifter. I have the TWM short shifter and love it. I know
you can find some cheaper shifters out there that others on the
forum seem to have had luck with.

Good luck to you.

1. IMO, if you don't need it yet, don't bother. If you still want to, I don't believe we have many flywheel options (Fidanza?) As for clutch, an AEM or Clutchmasters stage 1 will be fine.
2. If you only care about looks, it's pointless to waste your money on coilovers. If your stock struts are blown, just replace them with KYBs
3. RRM has just the fronts. If you want both front and back, you'll have to find them elsewhere.
4. Tons of these out there, just pick one. B&M adjustable costs the most, but also probably gives the shortest throw.
5. Can't really just pick a best brand, you need to know what you want in a pad. Do you care more about bite, MOT, dust, longevity, etc? Axxis Ultimates are great all-around pads, but they are super dusty. EBC redstuff is a great low-dust street pad.

thanks for all the feedback guys.
I wouldnt even know where to start on the 60,000 maintanence. Plus, I dont have the tools. Maybe a mechanic shop would do it the same tune up but cheaper?

1. I find it harder to launch with just clutch no gas, so might as well change out the clutch, and you get some performance with the flywheel upgrade no?
2. My struts arent blown yet but are making noises, I drive on the highway everyday.. had a tire blow on me last week. Wanna be safe and change them. As for the coilovers.. I was hoping to upgrade to get a smoother ride.. and also adjust the height for show.
3. I have black rims.. rather not get them constantly dirty.

I don't know if you can have both... with coilovers your ride is going to get rougher in exchange for the handling capabilities over springs but yes you can adjust height

Yea I can settle for some nice handling. And I never even put on my tein s tech In the back. My mechanic said that I would get bad rubbing. Soo either a good set of springs or coilovers.
