We were talking about that before about swapping the projectors but the only issue really is that the mounting holes dont match up with the housing so you're going to have to redrill the projector in order to be able to make it fit. I dont think you'll have to switch bulbs because the wiring is meant for h7 i believe? and the wires arent connected to the projector itself

i dont think the mounting of the new projector would be my biggest issue... i think it would be the wiring lmao i hate waring with a passion... even if you could fab up some kind of mounting plate somehow instead of drilling new holes in the projector....? i think it'd be a worthwhile venture...

: ripping a hand through the dirt : this thread is back from the dead ....

How do I adjust the projector ?? I have the same problem as stated above, where the left looks perfect but the right is pointed up in the trees , or palms as it may be. I removed that rubber piece and looked at it a bit but didn't really see a way to adjust it...

there's like a bolt on the back side of the projector that you can just take a rachet to and turn it until the angle of the light is back where you want it to be

This cutoff style is in the shield itself and there is no way to actualy bring that slant downward. I had projector headlights on my 99 galant, i have to customize my own cutoff sheild. The cutoff these headlights have is for LHD vehicles where the left side off the light is flat and towards the right side starts to slant upwards to illuminate road signs..this style is called ECE cutoff style:

here is a layout of the types of cutoff styles:

The only way to get the D.O.T pattern or a custom straight line pattern is to create that cutoff sheild. I did on my projectors and they came out like this:

top one is ECE and bottom one is mine:

ECE cutoff:

My modded straight cutoff:

So if your looking for that straight line cutoff you need to customize your cutoff sheilds!

Mine doesn't have abolt on the backside of the projector just 2 philips screws.. Your talking about removing the rubber cover and it's behind there right? Cause mine doesn't have it..

And thanks Mitsu.kid.02 / Tony for the info. I at least feel better if I can't change this without the covers . That it's suppsed to be like this ..

Yeah no prob, i remember i did alot of researching when i found out my projector headlights had seemed to have the same "issue" but in fact the cutoff sheilds are suppost to be this way for LHD vehicles with projectors using ECE cutoffs! I just simply got annoyed so i made my own
