Interesting observation I made the other day...do I have a problem?

what's up gentlemen...i made an interesting observation the other day as my car was on jacks.

in neutral, the left front wheel moves as if i was in gear...wtf??

so i threw it in first and noticed the wheel moving a bit faster (i assume this is normal, duh)...so i walk to the passenger side and notice the wheel is spinning...but it seems as if its getting caught by something, it will rotate...stop, begin to rotate again...stop, etc etc etc.

ill dig further into it this weekend, but i want to get some feedback. evom never disappoints me thanks in advance fellas.

Wheel movement in neutral is caused by friction in the trans. Even though no gears are engaged, the input shaft is still spinning, and friction with that is causing the output shaft to spin a bit when the wheels are in the air.

As for it being in gear, since the car has an open differential, the car is mainly going to spin the wheel the least resistance. If a wheel is spin/stop/spin/stop, that's just it getting caught up on the brake rotor a bit.
