I suppose i can try this...but i wouldnt know where to find male/female connectors for our car. unless you cut up the stock ones and connected it to the HID KIT itself?

I don't know first hand, but I have heard from several people that ddmtuning is "the last HID you'll ever need" and other comments like that.

[QUOTE=roblaza;8677289][quote=nashvilleRA;8676573]thanks, dually noted. any reliability issues

nope. the only reason i took them out was because i fell into some money for hid fogs. the piaa's were fantastic! great colour, and bright too. highly reccomended
I personally think the PIAAs burn out too quick. Almost every PIAA bulb I've had burns out within a year or so.

has a orange plastic blocker right in the middle of the connector.

I think I had that problem on my wife's old Pilot. Basically I pulled the actual plugs from the harness, snipped them to size, plugged them into the other harness "nekkid" and shrink wrapped them. I didn't have a solder at the time so that was my work around. It worked great, but was definitely hacky.

hmmm. last i'll ever need? ...sounds good.

and i guess i could just solder everything. but im kinda wary about ruining my wires they send me if my solder job is inadequate or if all i needed was one of their extra wiring harnesses. i guess i could call and find out...

...raikiri, where did you mount your ballasts?
or would you happen to have any pictures of the install?

There is someone in this thread with a testimonial of sorts - seems he and a bunch of his friends use DDM tuning HID kits.

I need to finally get out to the car and check the bulb type in the JDM headlight housing. I'm guessing they are the same as USDM, but that is the only thing keeping me from ordering my own set from DDM tuning.

awesome. im convinced. now i just need to buy the damn things.
i thought about it, and it will look pretty stupid to have 3000k fogs with xtrabrights up top, so i guess ill have to break out cash for some 6000k's too

if i get one set of fogs and one set of 9007 hi/lo, then it will be $102.83 shipped to nashville.

That thread I linked to earlier now has pics up. They look pretty solid. $35 for a slim ballast design and lifetime warranty sounds good to me!
