i know its dark, and i guess i could try and take pics of the 6000k 9007 hi/lo install for those of you who want it...
okay. i took some pics of the install of my headlights, but my camera's xd card crapped out somehow. so i have all my pictures except the ones taken yesterday. weird.
oh, and i figured out too late that the "fireworks" setting on my camera is perfect for these pictures. i also apologize for shakycam; it is mildly cold, and i had just got done working out.
here's my 6000k's w/ halogen fogs

^this is just some pontiac g9 i found at the gym, if you can see it.

i am kinda regretting buying the 35W headlights, cause they dont seem to be as bright as i thought they would be. or maybe its just cause i have them in yellowed, heavily oxidized halogen housings. unfortunately i am not planning on buying projectors for my RA, i have the feeling that once i do the car will crap out; karma at its best, you know.
has anyone had success de-yellowing these headlights on the inside and out?
mine are pretty bad.
well i have meguiar's plastic polish and mirror glaze that i use on them sometimes and that doesnt seem to work when done by hand, but i just found a dremel tool last night and it works great, havent had time to do the entire light yet. should i go out and buy mothers mag or try the meguiars first?
When it comes to headlights, I've always used Mothers Mag, but if you've got something that works, heck go for it. I personally find Mothers Mag to be more abrasive and you can actually see the yellow oxidization come off on the towel even when doing it by hand.
i have noticed that if i go at each light with the meguiars and a microfiber towel for fifteen minutes, then use the mirror glaze or whatever, it will come back within a week or two. do you notice this with mothers mag?
I HAS FOGS!!!
here is my how to/install writeup.
1) First of all, I was lazy; I just took my lights out instead of taking the bumper off. This also insured me that I would be able to work in a heated/air conditioned space, but if you have a better workspace outside, then by all means, take your bumper off.

2) The lights I got from ddmtuning.com happened to be a little too tall than the stock halogens, so I had to cut a hole in the back of the housing using a dremel tool. (if you buy from ddmtuning: I used a nickel as a template for the circle I was going to cut.)

3) Remove the original wiring and halogen light, retaining clip, all of that. Nothing concerning the original halogen light should remain inside the housing. Just make sure to leave the original grommet used for the wires you just trashed, cause you don't want a gaping hole in the side of your housing.
4) Bend rubber grommet in half to fit inside the hole you just cut, make sure it fits so you can do some trimming if need be. There are little knobby things on the inside of the housing, do not worry about these.

5) Next, cut the power wires (the ones not attached to the HID bulb that you plug into the ballast) and remove them from the grommet. These wires will stay outside your housing. I just cut up the original power wires and (should have) soldered them to the wires attached to the fog housing so that i could use the OEM wire harness (I used butt connectors, will probably change out later). Make sure you match black to black, or whichever color your ground is. This also enables you to unplug your one connection and walk away with the fog light and ballast and everything in one hand.

6) Fix your wires and ballast to the fog housing so you can keep it all in one place. Making sure everything fits, screw the back cover on again, adjust grommet if needed, and re-attach fog light to your bumper.

7) Troubleshoot and enjoy lighting up the side of the road... I mean heightened visibility!!!
tired... will post night pics tomorrow. (they're good )
