So I took my car into Midas today. The guy's there are awesome. They took me out to the bay and let me ask a bunch of questions and show me a bunch of stuff.

The car has a cat exhaust but I need a new muffler to pass MVI. It has an aftermarket header and, the intake, the strut bar, a stiffer aftermarket suspension and we found out the wire coming from the fuse box hooks to an alarm. The guy figured the button inside was most likely for some kind of lighting, but something's been cut out of the engine (as you can see zip tied to the strut bar) i dunno what.

Sorry to rain on your parade bro but the front red strut bar is stock, as is the header. It's just missing the heat sheild. What color are the springs? We can probably tell you what company they are.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but what is up with the missing down-pipe heat-shield? I've seen quite a few cars with that missing, do people just not like them or something?

? I dint know why either , I like the style with it. I polished mine at first but have since painted it black and dremeled the vent holes to be larger.

well, my car is lowered, so it wouldn't be stock unless he chopped them. I have a muffler that I'm putting on. It had to come off to pass mvi but now that it's passed MVI, i'll put it back on. When the shop put the new muffler on, they welded it to fit the hangar better so i'll need to cut it. it's gonna be a hassle cause my dremel isn't very powerful and that's all i have. and thanks, but I have an SRI already.
