Aluminum Floor Mats

Was looking at these two

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Mitsubishi-Lancer...#ht_1139wt_905

http://cgi.ebay.ca/100-CUSTOM-DIAMON...ht_2385wt_1008

anyone familiar with the mats or know any good places to get any?

Also wondering if the newer RA mats, especially the trunk, will fit an 04 RA

Interesting

Even though they are the diamond design i would think those would get slick if wet...

Yeah but i don't think it should be too bad. I've seen them in some other cars and i like the look. My current mats are too big on the passenger side and have been cut to fit on the drivers and moves around like crazy.

You should just pm RussellM, he can get you a good price on the OEM floor mats that came w/our cars. That's what I did, I love them! I vacuum them 1-2 times a month, and they still look brand new!

Ouch !!!160 bucks!!! I can't see my self spending that much on something that is bound to get dirty. You could of made them yourself for a fraction of the cost. But I agree with GDS they do get slick in the rain = not safe.

Keep us posted on it although it's not my cup of tea it is custom and I'm all for that

i was thinking about them gettin dirty but nothin a wet rag won't fix....i spent 45 minutes cleaning my current carpet/rubber mats a couple weeks ago and they already look like *** lol.

Is the trunk mat OEM? I assume the mitsu dealer could tell me if it would fit...

If you look at my avatar you'll see how i feel right now

I got the mats. They're great....except for the fact they don't fit my car! the ebay listing specifically stated the 04 ralliart sedan and listed EVERY model of the lancer family form 02-07. The guy also has over 1300 positive reviews and not one negative review in the past twelve months.

But you know how we have a little bump so there's a cutout in the bottom part of the floor mat, the ones i got were straight across, like an evo so they can't lay flat. The guy said he never had any issue fitting them on any lancer model, but i'm assuming he's just never done an 04-06 and assumed all lancer/evo models were the same. I sent him some pics of the differences, and i'm just waiting to hear back from him. Other than that, the mats are nice.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuu

If i get some that fit after all this hassle, i'll do up a proper review.

So i'm gonna show the guy how the bottom needs to be cut and he's gonna refund some of the cost. what do you think a good amount would be to ask for?

I did get the mats and overall they are fine, but to make them fit, I need to buy a pair of metal snips and cut a crescent out of the inside bottom corner on each mat.

Just wondering what you guys think would be a fair price to ask for. without shipping, they were 138.

as you can see, they're cut straight across like an evo floor. there should be some taken off in the inside corner on both the driver's and passenger's side.
